Lately I've been contemplating leaving my job & the finance industry for good and doing something I really like. This would probably mean I have to give up a comfy lifestyle, good food and expensive bags. Which is almost everything I use to motivate myself in work. Much as I love finance, working in the finance sector is a totally different story. By and by I realise that I'm not living life the way I want to and the way I feel I should. If I should die tomorrow, I would not want to be sitting here doing what I am doing for money. That I believe, is an indicator that I'm not living life the right way. I need to leave and I need to leave soon. But even if not for a comfy lifestyle, good food and expensive bags, I would want to chalk up CPF to pay for future HDB.. See? Life sucks..
I have a few options. Out of which, only one can give me about the same amount of moolah on a STABLE, monthly basis WITH CPF. And even if I'm willing to take on less pay to do something that I like, it does not mean I will be successful. And by that time if I were to find a normal office job, I would be lagging behind in experience by SO much..
Tough choice.. =(
